Wildwood Writing Contest

Submission deadline April 1st, 2025.
400 words maximum
$100 prize

Essay or poem theme should include one of the following - memory, remembrance, love of those who have passed, Wildwood Cemetery, burial, obituaries, death care, dying, living life with purpose.

The Writing Selection Committee of Wildwood Cemetery will choose one essay or poem to be published in the 2024-2025 Annual Report which will be mailed out to the Wildwood Community of over 1400 people in June 2025.

Wildwood Cemetery will retain the copyright of the chosen essay or poem for future publications and the cemetery website.


STEPS to SUBMIT:

1) Pay the required donation to Friends of Wildwood Cemetery): $20  Click here to make the required donation.

3) Be patient!  We will be in touch with you even if we do not accept your writing piece.  Thank you for submitting your essay/reflection/poem.  We appreciate and honor your time and energy and we are sorry we only have space in our publication for one piece.
