*A columbarium (pl. columbaria) is a place for the respectful

Boulder Garden

Two burial rights per boulder $1300

The Boulder Garden (formerly known as the Scattering Garden) is a contemplative garden space provided as a less costly and communal alternative for cremation burials.  Burial sites are marked with a natural stone.  Stones may have direct engraving or an attached plaque.

There may be boulders pre-set on the burial site. If Wildwood does not have a stone available, family and friends can arrange to have a boulder brought in by a landscaping or monument company for us to install.  The boulder should be roughly the size of a 5-gallon bucket.

Cremation remains are poured directly into the earth.  (No urns are allowed to be buried in this section.)

Moss Slope
One opening right is $1,300 and two urns can be buried at the same time.

Moss Slope is in a serene location overlooking the historic eastern section and the woods.  These spaces provide a less expensive and simple alternative for cremation burials.  Burial sites are provided with a granite stone that can easily be carved by a local monument company.  Stones may have direct engraving or an attached plaque.

Cremation remains (in an urn or not) are buried directly underneath the granite stone.

Each granite stone has room for two people's names and dates.

Memorial Garden Burial - New Option
One burial right (no urn) - $1,000

For information about inscription rights please contact the office.

The Wildwood Memorial Garden is conveniently located near the Dickinson Farmhouse and parking.  The four season pollinator garden is a beautiful resting place for those who prefer a more natural cremation burial space where the birds and bees come for shelter and nourishment.

For those who wish to have their names inscribed, there is the option of purchasing inscription rights for engraving on shared tablets.
